The journey between Régua and Tua and back to Régua takes place in the Historical Douro Train and is undertaken with a traditional locomotive (steam-powered, diesel-burning) from the 1920s, towing 5 historic carriages, also from the same period.

This programme only includes assistance during the cruise. After disembarking, passengers should go to Régua Railway Station to enjoy a trip on the Historic Train.
