Programme
1:00 p.m
Participants will be welcomed at City Park for a brief introduction to the afternoon's program
The goals of the event and the importance of sustainable activities will be explained
1:30 p.m
Participate in a hands-on workshop on composting and urban gardening
Participants will learn about home composting techniques and how to create small urban gardens, with practical activities to build compost bins and plant herbs and vegetables
3:00 p.m
Guided walk along the park trails, including a waste collection activity
Participants will use gloves and recyclable trash bags to pick up litter, contributing to the cleanliness and conservation of the environment
Information about local flora and fauna will be provided during the walk
4:30 p.m
In teams, participants will create eco-niches such as insect shelters and small birdhouses using recycled and sustainable materials
These niches will be placed in strategic locations in the park to support local biodiversity
5:30 p.m
Wrap-up of the program with a reflection session on the afternoon’s activities
Participants will share their experiences and learnings about sustainable practices
A light snack with organic and local products will be provided
6:00 p.m
Farewell and conclusion of the eco-friendly team building program
